Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Portfolio Pilot. By creating an account you agree to these Terms.
2.1 The Service
Portfolio Pilot is a software platform for UK residential landlords providing portfolio management, compliance tracking, financial analytics, AI-powered insights, and related tools, available on subscription (Starter free; Landlord, Portfolio, Pro paid).
2.2 Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old
- You must use the Service lawfully in connection with UK residential property ownership or management
- You are responsible for compliance with applicable laws
2.3 Account Registration
You must provide accurate information and maintain confidentiality of your credentials. Notify us at privacy@portfoliopilot.co.uk immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
2.4 Subscriptions and Billing
- Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance via Stripe
- 14-day Pro trial automatically granted when you sign up (try every paid feature)
- Prices in GBP, excluding VAT where applicable
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before renewal
- Cancellation takes effect at end of the current billing period
- No refunds for partial periods except where required by law
- Pricing changes notified 30 days in advance
2.5 AI-Generated Content
Insights, health scores, recommendations, and executive briefings are informational only. They do not constitute financial, legal, tax, or investment advice. Consult qualified professionals for significant decisions.
2.6 Open Banking
Connecting a bank account authorises Portfolio Pilot and TrueLayer to retrieve read-only data on your behalf. You may revoke this at any time. We are not responsible for errors caused by TrueLayer or your bank.
2.7 Accountant Portal
By sharing a portal token you grant that person read-only access to your data. You are responsible for ensuring authorised sharing. We are not responsible for how authorised third parties use data you have shared.
2.8 Intellectual Property
All platform IP is owned by or licensed to Portfolio Pilot Ltd. You retain ownership of data you input. You may not copy or create derivative works without written consent.
2.9 Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is". We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of data you input and outputs you rely upon.
2.10 Limitation of Liability
Our total liability shall not exceed the total fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages or loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
2.11 Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or legal requirement. We will provide a reasonable opportunity to export your data.
2.12 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts.
