Acceptable Use Policy

This policy sets out the rules governing use of Portfolio Pilot. Breach may result in suspension or termination of your account.

4.1 Permitted Use

You may use Portfolio Pilot solely for lawful purposes in connection with legitimate management of UK residential property portfolios.

4.2 Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

• Input false, fraudulent, or misleading property, tenancy, or financial data
• Use the Service to facilitate tax evasion, money laundering, or unlawful financial activity
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Share account credentials with third parties (other than via the authorised Accountant Portal share token)
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the platform
• Use automated tools or scrapers that disrupt normal operation
• Upload malware or code designed to damage the Service
• Use AI-generated content to create misleading reports for lenders, insurers, or regulators without professional verification
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written consent
• Infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of third parties

4.3 Tenant Data

Where you input tenant personal data, you are the data controller under UK GDPR. You must have a lawful basis for processing and must not input more data than necessary for portfolio management.

4.4 AI Outputs

You must not represent AI-generated content as independent professional advice, use it as the sole basis for significant financial decisions, or present it to third parties as a substitute for a formal valuation or survey.

4.5 Reporting Violations

Report violations to privacy@portfoliopilot.co.uk. We investigate all reports promptly.

4.6 Consequences of Breach

We may suspend or terminate access where this policy has been breached. Unlawful conduct may be reported to appropriate authorities.
